July 2002 . . .
Flight Concepts moves to a new facility. The move was prompted by various reasons, one of which was to reorganize the production to better serve our customers. We will also be extending our cutting table because we will no longer hand cut canopies.
June 2002 . . .
Flight Concepts releases a NEW CANOPY to the skydiving market. This development program started in 2001. The canopy is called Sentry. The sizes range from 99 sq.ft. to 230 sq.ft. and the recommended wing load is 1.2 lbs. per sq.ft. We continue to jump REV 3 Proto Type Canopy and make minor adjustments to the lines. The canopy is has a very solid leading edge, but the true test will be when the WORLD CHAMPION CRW TEAM REDLINE gets em. They will start testing this design after the nationals. These guys and gal have thousands of jumps on the Express (the hardest nose CReW canopy in the world) and they know what a hard nose parachute is.
